About this vehicle This 1978 Chevrolet Corvette is an original. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes 1978 Anniversary Edition. There is less than 1000 miles on current motor and transmission and a 123000 on odometer. I had original engine pulled and it rebuilt by KT Engines of Concord, NC. My direction to them was to give me as much power and performance possibly using the original engine. I was told by KT Engines upon picking up the car the horsepower range was between 425 and 450. I have less then 1000 miles on the modified engine. With this tremendous amount of horsepower, I also had to have the transmission rebuilt to handle it. I also had some great sounding mufflers installed by Muffler Master of Kannapolis, NC.
