I honestly did not think I would have to go in this much detail over a vehicle I listed at $1000... but, I guess i do. 1) NO...you can not bring a battery and a fuel cell from your boat and get it running and drive it home like Derek does on Vice Grip Garage on youtube. 2) I do not know what condition the brakes are in or the wiring. The wiring that I can see appears to be fine visually. I do see that the fuses do not seem to blown though. 3) No, I have not taken it to garage hoist and had an underbody inspection. The only inspection I have done was a walk around to take pictures.4) Yes, I do see rust under the spare tire in the front and yes there is other rust on this car. It had sat outside for a few years before I bought it from my friend. It was his wifes car and she lost interest in it and parked it.5) As stated in the original description...I have not had it started or attempted to start it. It was running when she parked it and I do not have any reason to believe that it will not start again. The VW engines are pretty solid. I have owned several VW's.6) No, I have not detailed the inside of the car or deodorized it. The interior will have to come out to do the floor pans anyways. The seats do appear to be in good shape both front and back. No, I have not sat in them except to steer it onto my trailer.7) I do not know if the radio works.8) 3 of tires hold air but the front passenger tire goes flat. I can run over to my buddies and get a used tire for it if the winning buyer asks me to.9) Yes, the windows roll up and down but not easily. I think they need to be lubricated but they do work.10) Yes, all doors open and close . The front hood open and closed and the rear deck lid also opens and closed.Once again this is a vehicle that is used and needs work in order to be driven. I listed this at 1000 dollars so that someone could get into a project cheaply which seems impossible to do these days. This is an as is sale, all sales final, no warranty, no refunds on deposit.
