'73 Dodge Charger SE high end restoration. Original North Carolina car acquired in stock condition. Complete drive line rebuilt, 400 C.I. big block milled, ported, polished & bored, mild cam matched to 727 torqueflite, stall & 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 sure grip. Suspension completely rebuilt, old OEM rubber bushing & body mounts replaced with upgraded polyurethane, Moog front end suspension components, Firm Feel iso-delete kit installed on rear suspension. Heavy duty front & rear sway bars, all new brakes, rotors, calipers, hardware & lines. Original interior door panels, headliner, new seat covers, foam, carpet, tray package & restored original dash. Body taken down to metal, as stated a N.C. car without a blister on it. Body sealed, primed, four coats of base, six coats of clear, wet sanded to a stunning finish. Graphics are painted on in period correct flat black & the vinyl top re-dyed in it's original black. It's a factory ac car that I did not re-install, all parts still on hand. All the chrome, stainless & aluminum trim has been restored or replaced with NOS parts. My intent was to keep this as original as possible, I like to think it's 95%. Couple of custom touches were moving both bumpers close to the body eliminating the bumper filler material of that era as well as removing the bumperettes that were required that year by the government. 68k miles on the car, about 4k miles since the build completed. All paperwork on hand from the restoration. This car was a labor of love for me so rest assured there was no skimping whatsoever on the build.
