We have been in business since 1988 and specialize in the higher end quality Corvettes, especially the ones like this with very low mileage. We do not sell anything that we would not trade for back or buy back down the road if the buyer decides to want to sell or trade in for something else. This particular 1977 Corvette we acquired back in 2015 from the state of Mississippi from a man that had originally purchased it for his wife to drive on the weekends and enjoy. They had the car for a few years and decided to sell. We bought the car and did a nice cosmetic detailing on the car including replacing the tires with the correct reproduction Goodyear Steelgard's at a cost of $1,140 back in 2015 at which now those tires are $350 dollars each I believe. The tires do not have but 2,000 miles on them and the alignment was checked and any corrections needed at that time. No uneven wear on these tires and the car goes down the road straight as can be. The aluminum wheels on this car have been polished out to a show like finish and really look nice on this car. After we did a light detail on the car we sold it locally to a man that enjoyed and preserved the car maintaining it like it should be only driving to local cruise-ins and car shows. He and his wife just recently decided to trade it back into us for a later model one as the wife wanted a convertible. The car shows 13,767 miles today and is actual to the car. We do have signed odometer statements and previous owner history that goes with the sale. There is no doubt in my mind that this one is "Real" mileage and not just listed like many others you see. I really encourage someone serious about this Corvette to go look at others and then come and see what a real low mileage Corvette looks like that has been preserved and cared for its entire life. The car does retain its original engine and many original components, however things like the shocks have been replaced and some mechanical things have been rebuilt or redone such as the brake calipers. As far as we know the car needs nothing and everything works on this Corvette. We recently replaced the air conditioning compressor and it has been converted to R134. The original 8-track radio is still with the car as the previous owner we has sold the car to back in 2015 his wife wanted that nice CD player that is in the car now. No other modifications have been done to this car. The car is an absolute dream to drive as it is nice and tight and performs well. I don't see anyone that would be disappointed with this car. EXTERIOR BODY AND PAINT:The body on this Corvette is very nice. The car has been repainted at one point in time and was done right in base coat clear coat finish. The front and rear bumpers are the original urethane ones and have plenty of flex and no cracking. Only a couple small flaws on the very front part of the nose that is not bad enough in my opinion to redo. They also match up to the white paint nicely. The door jamb areas were left alone and not refinished as they did not need to be. Many of these original paint cars from this area were very sloppy and frankly were repainted back in the day by the dealers before being resold as the finish just was not like what you see today. The window glass was untouched and also in nice original shape with no cracks or nicks. No over spray on any components as well such as the engine bay and interior. The weatherstripping around the t-tops, hood, doors are original as I know and do no need replacing. This was a southern car originally so it was no exposed to the harsh winter elements of the Northern states. Originally sold new in Texas. Condition of the exterior paint I would rate about an 8 to 9 out of 10. INTERIOR:The interior on this Corvette is a 9 out of 10 easily. One of the nicest original interiors I have seen that has been well cared for without any hazing or cracking nor any fading of the components. All of the gauges look crisp and fresh as if they were restored and replaced and have not been. The dash pad and door panels have no cracking at all. The carpeting is all original without any wear and those original floor mats you see in the photos are rare as the reproduction ones have a totally different binding around them. The brake pedal and gas pedal are nice with no wear at all. The leather seats are excellent and the original seat belts look perfect with all of the tags still in place. The rear storage compartment area is no all cracked up as it is a plastic material and the original jack with lug wrench is still intact. I also have the t-top storage bags and this one was ordered with the luggage and roof panel rack and both original brackets and the strap to hold them onto the rack is still with the car. The cruise control also works and that was a first time offered option for 1977 only available with an automatic transmission. ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND CHASSIS:When we originally did a refresh on the car we did remove the valve covers and replace the gaskets. We also added the chrome air cleaner lid as it was originally all black and I have one in black that goes with the car. The wiring is all original and has not been spliced or cut and does not need replacing. The radiator was replaced by the previous owner and I have receipts on that item as well as many other routine maintenance receipts over the years. The engine bay is very clean and does not need anything. The power brake booster still has that nice gold cad finish like it should be. The chassis looks very good and we did remove the spare tire compartment just to wash and clean. The original Goodyear spare tire and wheel are intact and have never been used. oil pan we did refinish as the factory did not put much blue paint on them back then and we did repaint the exhaust system and mufflers with a "High Heat" finish that will not burn or wear off over time. We did repack the front wheel bearings and one strut rod was replaced. Front sway bar bushings as well. The transmission fluid and rear end grease have been changed and an oil and filter changed using Lucas products. No leaks that I have noticed and the car does not overheat and can be driven in parades and such. The fuel tank is clean on the inside and has always been stored with a full tank when not driven and Seafoam put into the tank as well. The frame on this Corvette is solid with no rot or rust nor any corrosion for that matter. You can still see some of the original markings and inspections from the assembly line when built. This Corvette for sure was not driven in any bad weather nor the rain and no undercoating to cover up anything underneath. The only undercoating that the car has was the fender wells as the factory did that back then. Chassis and engine compartment I would rate about a solid 8 out of 10.
