This is The 3rd generation of the Ford Thunderbird and is considered a large personal luxury car that was produced by Ford for the 1961 to 1963. This generation of the Thunderbird was restyled in favor of the previous body style. The Thunderbird's sporty style and defining lines make this convertible a real head turner even still today. The T-Bird comes with a high output 390-cubic-inch 300 bhp V8 engine that still has plenty of pick up and that great sound when you rev the engine. Its true it will probably take about 10 seconds to hit 60 mph! The T-Birds suspension allows the car to handle very well and to float through curves. This convertible comes with dealer-installed tonneau cover and stainless interior appointments. This example has been owned and cared for by the current owner since 1980.It has been kept in a climate controlled garage and rarely ever driven in the rain. Affectionately styled with Kelsey Hayes wire wheels,it not only adds to the value,they add to the already sleek and classy style of this roadster ! Everything on this vehicle operates as it should. The car has been test driven by me personally and it runs and drives effortlessly.
