We are very pleased to now be offering this stunning and very original 1964 Fuel Injected Corvette Coupe. The early fuel injected Corvettes were a very advanced and innovative design that was way ahead of its time. It was first introduced in the 1957 Corvette and carried on until the 1965 Corvette in its first inception as designed by Rochester. Only the 63 – 65 Midyear Corvettes had the fuel injection option, now making them rare and very desirable. Only 1,325 Corvettes in 1964 had the optional Rochester Fuel Injection system. (Of note, the coupes were more rare as there were only 8,304 coupes vs. 13,925 convertibles made in 1964.) This one is very original and maintains its original numbers matching engine, four speed manual transmission, and the original Rochester Fuel Injection unit. This car is in remarkable condition and drives incredibly well, and it is even more remarkable that it is in original unrestored condition except for one repaint in the original Ermine White over a stunning red interior. The frame is in excellent condition without any rot or structural issues. It also has its original AM-FM radio and 4.11 rear end. Even the radiator is the original correct date coded piece. The car has been maintained in an unmolested and original condition that does not show its age. It is readily apparent the car has been painstakingly cared for through the years. The odometer shows only 27,9xx miles which are believed to be accurate especially based on the remarkable condition and obviously sparing use the car has seen since 1964. It has Western reproduction knock off Aluminum wheels with correct white line tires that are in great condition as well. I am sure you will not be disappointed with the car from its appearance to is drivability. Don’t’ miss this rare opportunity to own such a unique and well preserved piece of Corvette history that continues to become more desirable and sought after each year that goes by. Understandably, the market continues to drive the price of these original fuel injected Corvettes up and will continue to do so given their rarity. There definitely aren’t many around like this anymore.
