CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Selling a 1932 Ford BB 1-1/2 Ton Dual Rear Wheel Stakebed. This is one of the rare 4 cylinder trucks, most had V8's. The truck was treated to a high-dollar professional restoration back in the 1980's and has held up quite well. It does have some chipped paint and general wear from use over the years since the restoration, but overall very good. This is exactly the way I like them, i.e. restored but not afraid to drive it or get a scratch on it. Was last registered in 1986, and was shown by the owner at the time as evidenced by the various award ribbons hanging inside the cab. Please study the pictures as they form a part of the description, and please ask any questions before you purchase. The truck has an A block (with B head, B exhaust manifold etc), but I did source a proper 1932 B block which is in very good condition and I will include with the truck (see last picture). You can run and drive the truck as is, but if you are a purest and want a B block I've gone ahead and sourced that for you (which was my plan). The vacuum wiper needs to be hooked back up and I'm not sure if the fuel gauge is working properly. Windshield is starting to show it's age and has some delamination/fogging issues etc around the edges. Vehicle does have an electric fuel pump which is hidden inside the frame rail. About all I've done to it is I replaced the B exhaust manifold and exhaust gaskets (the one that was on the truck was cracked). The fuel tank was sent out by the previous owner for a professional lining job so no issues with rust in the tank or anything like that. Does leak some oil. In my opinion it's running a bit rich so probably needs the carburetor rebuilt but runs fine as is; I do have a second carburetor which I will include with the truck. Mechanical brakes work fine (though they are 1932 designed brakes!). Mileage looks like 22,274, but I have no way to know if that's correct so put 99,999 as the mileage. I never bothered to register it, rather I just used it around my property, but does come with registration from prior owner back in the 1980's (Concord Lumber Company). NH is a non-title state for older vehicles. Vehicle is currently stored in a heated garage and I can continue to store it for you for 4 weeks after purchase, unless prior arrangements are made. Vehicle is located in Andover NH. This is a really nice vintage truck that can be used as is, would also make a nice truck for advertising your business, etc. Only reason I am selling is I have too many projects and need the space. Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask any questions.
