Older restoration. People always comment how nice it is. Body is very nice. Paint is a 10 footer has lots of flaws like some runs that where never buffed or sanded out. scratches , some dings, pit, flake marks. Was never a real rust bucket like I see some on ebay but looks like toe boards and the engine compartment side edges where repaired years ago. If it had any other rust repaired it was done well because it has been years. From what I see most looks original metal. Engine runs and was still being driven last year but it blows so much oil out dip stick tube it can no longer be driven. Weird it does not smoke. My 96 year old father put piles of money into this. New brakes, etc etc etc , new rear tank, new $500 side tank. Side tank has never had gas in it. Has new switch in front of driver seat He never went anywhere. Just way to much is new or replaced. So motor is shot will need rebuild. <p> While your at it the auto trans never really would shift right like it would skip first or 2nd. But was driven like that for years. Would go highway speeds a couple years ago. Exhaust is quiet. Stainless Headers, new exhaust , in the past year , radiator, hoses, belts , water pump, starter, carb, wires, etc etc etc. New moldings around front, new head lights, new tail lights new emblems, to much other little new items. The bully side steps where custom bar reinforce to the inner shield. You can step on them. Rock solid. New front factory BRONCO logo floor matt. Think he said that was expensive. It needs wiper blades the ones on it fall off the arms. If you lift the arms.Lift, has the extensions welded to frame to bring the front bars down that go to the front axel . All new suspension. It rides soft. Body, small ding on inner top by hood , small little dent by passenger tail light edge, pass door has a very slight bow to the panel by lower hinge about a foot into door. You have to look for it. Rest of bronco is straight. I do remember my dad saying the windshield frame had rust and was repaired. And if you look close you can see some not so perfect spots. All new brakes, lines etc. Interior , look at it , it is as nice as the photos, all new seat covers, foam, carpet, side panels , that heat insulator under carpet etc etc , tilt column, Directionals work, horn works, speedo works but runs to slow. Headlights, fuel gauge , do not work. Im sure something else may not work, just to much to remember. P/s, Power disc brakes work Great, 302 auto, not original think it was a 3 speed on column, I would have to check again but I think it has a posi rear. I forget. My dad just did stuff to keep busy. The next plan was to buy a crate engine from summit, rebuild the trans . But my father pasted away last Jan. Not from covid but old age. Also last I can think of. The tires may look like great, they hold air and he used it only around the farm as he could not drive on the road. The tires are very badly dry rotted and badly cracked . They are shot. great project of a solid bronco. Also no one seems to bring this up. The frame has the vin number stamped from ford on the frame rail top on the passenger side in the engine compartment. Just below the firewall. So yes the frame matches the vin tag in glove box that matches my title . titled in my name. Payment will be cash in person and only cash in person. Title will be completely filled out with buyer name. No ifs ands or buts. Other wise do not purchase.The bronco starts and moves, really ridiculous , because it does not smoke. But if you put 5 quarts of oil in it it will push 2 out the dip stick in minutes. So for now there is a rubber hose on the dip stick to a plastics bottle. Any questions I am glad to help. sad to sell it. Just no time. Pickup in Morristown NJ 07926 on a Saturday only. Great project, most everything else is done. It has 89k miles but real miles unknown. Sold as is condition project. No warrantee or guarantee expressed of implied. No shipping . Cash on pickup. No bank checks, not cash , not purchased. If I made any mistakes I am sorry. It is a old used bronco great for someone to repair. It can not be driven because of oil leaks and engine , trans need to be rebuilt. To be perfect would need to be restored and repainted . It was maroon now black in color. No , Not a come look and discuss the sold price. I do not need to sell it. for $4000 I can buy a summit engine and rebuild the trans.
