When I purchased the car it had some small seal leaks on: the engine, transmission, air conditioning and brakes. (From not hardly been driven for the last 30 years.) I had the car professionally gone through, updated and restored. All work was done professionally. The engine was sent out to Jasper Engine to be rebuilt and set up for no lead gas, the transmission was sent to Jody's transmission to be rebuilt, and the carburetor was sent to Holley to be rebuilt. Redmonds automotive restored the: brake system with new rotors, new clutch, refurbished and converted the Air Conditioning system, new battery, new tires (The tires on it when I purchased were Coker Firestone Redlines. The tires looked brand new. The first owner had put them on. Per the date code on the tires the tires were 30 years old. Based on the tires, this car had barely been driven for the last 30 years.) Plus Redmond restored many other items as needed. It took 9 months and over $19,000 was spent. Lots of pictures and documentation are available for all of the work I had done. The car runs strong, sounds fantastic and drives down the road great. If you want to go out, turn some heads and have some fun driving you are going to love this car.
