| 1968 Acadian Super Sport, Nova SS type up for sale for the first time in history. This car is a very special 1968 low production year small block 4 speed 12 bolt monster. Back in the day if you were lucky enough to order one of these Super-Sports from your Pontiac dealer the options list was the only way to check off your ride. With only 691 coupes that came into Canada from the Willow Run plant in Michigan this one found its way to Kamloops B.C. Acadians and Novas were built bumper to bumper going to some lucky buyers. Some of the rarest off that line came north and were taken to the drag strips, few of there Acadians are known to be registered to date.This Classic SS has only ever been owned by one family and lived in a dry climate in the Okanagan area of B.C. check it out on a map. The car has had a complete from Bumper to bumper. The interior remains untouched. The total cost came to over 40,000 dollars The before restoration pics are available showing the car in outstanding condition,with not a spec of rust. Numbers matching Protecto plate, GM of Canada documentation. Dealers report of sale and registration dates September 05, 1968. June built dates.Fully restored from a mint car to start with. 350 miles since completed in 2009.This is a Canadian documented SS one of 691 coupes and one of 69 4 speed Supersports that were imported to Canada and sold at Pontiac dealers only. Searching the web and you will find little information on these super cool Acadian cars. It is a Nova SS with Pontiac ID features. At a car show you will have the only one. Fully rebuilt Balanced 350/295 hp, M20 four speed Muncie, and a 331 12 bolt positraction. Factory front 4 piston disk brakes. F41 suspension and the rest of the list is on the attaches images. This car was ordered/purchased new in Vancouver Canada. It spent its entire life in Kamloops, B.C. Being a desert area is why this car never had rust before restoration.
