CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Up for auction is this very nice 102 yr old 1918 Ford Model T touring automobile. It still has its original 4 cylinder flat head 201 CI engine. It starts right up with no smoking and runs coo. It has the planetary transmission. The body of the car is amazingly straight with no rust or bondo or patch panels. The upholstery has been redone at some point and looks very nice. The top is very good with no rips or tears. It has the original wood spoke rims & the tires have good tread. The car has a manual pump (awoogah) horn which works good. The headlights work. It has a new battery for the electric starter. It has the nice original style 'moto meter' and dog bone radiator cap. The bottom windshield glass is good, however, the top pane has a crack. It has the original kerosene side marker lamps. A nice & clean engine compartment with a fresh oil change of 30W, non-detergent oil. I have driven this 'T' some and it is a blast to drive. It goes down the road nicely at about 35-45 MPH as a comfortable speed. The brakes work good. Please contact me early to exchange phone numbers to address any questions or to discuss this nice 102 yr old little piece of Henry Ford history. These old 'T's" in this shape are hard to come by.
