Hello, I have up for sale a beautiful 1966 Pontiac GTO factory 4 speed car. This car was in indoor storage for 30 years before I found it to add to my collection. It has 47677 original miles and it shows in its condition! I have the PHS documentation for the car and it will go with it as well. I've decided to dedicate my time to other restoration projects and would prefer this one to go to another good home. Exterior:The body on this car is in great shape, the floors are solid with no rust and no rust repair, this is also true for the trunk. There are no major dents or dings in the body panels and no rust either, all are solid. The paint on the car is very old, however it still shines, but it could use a respray soon to be perfect. All of the trim and molding is still intact and the bumpers are still in great shape. This car still wears its original factory paint color. Drivetrain & Chassis:This car runs out great! It currently has a 1973 Pontiac 400 X4 code engine which was in the car when I purchased it, I'm not sure of the history of the original motor. I've detailed the engine bay and also updated the following; full tune up, new carburetor with electric choke, new hoses, new battery, new water pump, new belts, new aluminum radiator and new mufflers. The transmission shifts very smoothly through all of the gears. The rear end is quite at speed. All of the brakes are new and are in great working order. It has a very nice set of clean Rally I wheels and like new redline tires installed on all 5. This is an originally optioned "Ride & Handling" package car, which it still retains. I've also installed new shocks all the way around and new springs in the rear. I believe the lights all work too. The spare tire and jack assembly are installed in the trunk. Interior: The interior is in great condition as well, mostly original, and required nothing more than a little cleaning when I got the car. The seats are in great shape. The dash pad is not cracked and the original rally pack dash is still intact. I did install new carpet, package tray and door panels. The headliner is in good condition as well. The only thing currently missing in the interior are the seatbelts as I have not reinstalled them after the new carpet, they will however go with the car. Overall this is a very nice, clean original example of a GTO. I do not believe this car will take much work at all to be a finished and completely restored car, however, if you wanted it could be driven as is. Please review all of the images closely and read the entire description. This car is sold with a clean Michigan title.
