Richard Craig Hupp (R-C-H), who also built the Huppmobile (which was around until 1941), built this luxury Sedan Convertible on the theory you could own a real gem for under $1000, compared to similar models that sold for over $2000 back in the 1900's. As you look at the photos, you will realize what this 4 door represented back in the day. The Franklin Car Museum of Tucson, AZ, restored this Antique, with upgrades to include a 100 amp hour battery, 12vdc conversion, electric starter (no hand cranking required), electric bullet headlights & side lights, and a non-synchro-mesh transmission (3 speed & reverse), so this beauty can be started from the drivers seat, put in gear, and accelerate with a pedal, shift with a pedal, and brake with a pedal. You now can picture yourself cruising in a parade, in the neighborhood, or at a car show, with the look of 1913, yet an easy driveable convertible. It holds 5 passengers, sits up on non-skid 32X3 tires, mounted to Wood Artillery type wheels, and the top is an easy up and down function (manual of course)!
