1966 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S. Yes.... This is a real Formula S with it's original 273 V8 4 bbl High performance commando engine. Original Carb # 4295S = 273 cu in automatic. Original exhaust manifolds, Intake manifold, heads, the distributor is a accel dual point. Original transmission and rear axle. factory valve covers and air cleaner. Original radiator and condenser for the factory original air conditioning. The engine was rebuilt as well as the transmission and run in the car just before the car was taken apart 13 years ago. The engine turns over fine. Every original part is there for the car. The car retains it's original blue paint. I will decode as follows... VIN BP29D , P= premium, 29= 2 door sports hard top, 2= Hamtramck mich. Fender tag reads as follows 3259 32= 273 4bbl engine, 5= automatic transmission, 9 = lower body molding p4b= light blue exterior paint, CC1 = blue interior and so on. If you notice in the photo's the car retains the original 150 mph speedometer and tachometer as well as all the gauges. The car is bucket seats with fold down rear seat. The seats are newly reupolstered to factor specs. New carpet, new door panels ready to be installed. The head liner is in great condition and is still in the car. All glass is in great shape. The body is in very good condition other than the front floor pans have some rust. All the supports and frame rails and rockers are solid. Trunk floor is solid. inner fenders are solid. hood and trunk lids are solid. This was a original un molested car when taken apart. The car still retains it's original Alabama title. Purchased the car from Alabamba 14 years ago. Rebuilt the engine and tranny put about 2000 miles on it and decided to repaint the car. Business got busy and had not had the time to get to it all these years. This is by no means a rot box. These cars in this original condition are very hard to find.
