| '68 Cougar,289 engin,4 speed manual transmission.Engin has been gone through,bored 10 over,new rings,pistons,bearings,heads machined all to make a 52 year old car like new.Installed a new $220 Power Master starter.Rebuilt entire clutch assembly,added new flywheel,clutch,throw out bearing,pressure plate.Was a 3-speed but changed to a new 4-speed rebuilt top loader all from Blue Ridge Performance in Low Gap,North Carolina.Has Hooker Headers and I had them Power Coated at Jet Hot in Berlington,NC then ran rest of exhaust all stainless steel pipes with M-80 mufflers made by Pipes.Added a New harmonic balancer so much improved over the stock one.Aluminum radiator with new aluminum fan.Has a rebuilt 600 Holly carb with 68 jet.High output coil.Stainless valve covers Ford racing.The rear end is original 283 gear and replaced all seals flushed gears with brake cleaner added new gear oil.This car runs like a new car you can go anywhere you need to go.Installed new aluminum gas tank sending unite and copper gas line up to fuel pump.Reworked doors:hing pins,window sweeps.Soundproofed all floors and installed new carpet.Paint is a 10 of 10 show quality is a Gm paint "Laser Blue".To ask any questions you need to call me " Rob Wimmer" between 8:30 and 9:30 AM my message machine is not working so this way you can reach me.Cash when you come to Buy It call if you need to for any reason you cannot come to see the car... | |
