| 1959 Ford Skyliner Very clean and original This Baby Blue Beauty is clean inside and out. It's Ford 390 CI V-8 engine and 3-speed automatic transmission makes it a great cruiser.With power steering, power brakes and COLD factory A/C it offers a great driving experience. The coolest part of this classic Ford is the retractable hardtop.With a push of a button the top unfastens itself, opens the trunk and retracts into the trunk, the trunk then closes and locks itself down with a clean hardcover boot. You want the top up push the button backward and the process reverses itself.The continental kit completes this chassis design. We installed new radial wide white wall tires, replaced the generator with an alternator, installed a new 4-barrel carburetor, dual exhaust and a complete new interior (carpets, seats and door panels).The dash Is factory intact including the original AM radio. All lights and gauges work as they should except for the temp gauge so we added. an aftermarket gauge. The car runs in Georgia's 90 degree summer heat with the AC running at 180-190 degrees.The paint was re-sprayed 7-8 years ago and stored in a climate controlled space. There are a few small chips but other than that it is excellent. The chrome and trim is very straight. This is a very solid southern car. It wasn't a rust bucket that was patched back together.
