| Up for sale is our 1979 VW Camper Bus. This is a very special bus that has 2 beds.One is the rear bench seat that folds out into a bed (has seat belts). The upper bunk is accessible when the roof is popped up.Also comes with an electric sink that has been fitted with all new lines and drain as well as a flushed and cleaned water tank. There are electrical outlets and you can plug in at any campsite. There is nice interior lighting both electric and battery operated if needed.The van has a rear-facing jumpseat and a "swing table" that is removable or able to swing to desired position. The camper is equipped with an original VW AM/FM radio but also has USB ports for charging etc. The body is overall good but not perfect. The previous owner handled any rust issues. The paint is good but not great. If you get close you can se imperfections. But again, overall it's a great looking van and people don't stop talking about it! Up until 2 years ago it lived on the west coast. The top is in nice shape. And the interior is VERY good. It's hard to believe that it lasted this long. The last owner said he transplanted the camper interior from another bus at some point because she liked the colors better. The motor and trans operate very well. The motor was rebuilt 2 yrs ago.It's a 4 speed manual that has tons of power. Faster than most buses and will climb without issue. It's a carbureted 2.0L and one of the easiest manuals to drive.
