1966 Shelby Fastback clone that has 2+2 option. Rebuilt 74' 302 engine,30 over, roller rockers, comp cam at .512 valve lift and280 tappet lift, holley 4 bbl, shorty headers, magna flow exhaust and she sounds good. That is hooked to a rebuilt c4 trans and a new 9" rear end with370 posi by o.p. approx 320 to 340 hp and runs on pump gas. Also has 4wheel disc brakes (Wilwood) and after market a/c. No power steering. Car is for sale as is with no warranty and has a clean MI title. The toreador red metallic paint in base/ clear looks great but like most could be better. Has one dime size ding in driver door, study photo. Also has a crack on both sides of hood scoop at front. Except for that she is really sharp, especially in the sun. The restoration was about 7 years ago with about 6000 miles. A lot of rust repair was done with tons of new parts as you can tell. Everything was welded. Does come with cam card. No other prior paper work or extra parts except for a slapshift shifter and console for the slapshift that we removed and installed current console and shifter. From what i see it has: new frame extensions, front and rear frame pieces were replaced. Front and rear floor was put in on both sides. New quarters, fenders and doors. New nose and tail pan. Of coarse all the weather strip, chrome and Shelby mirrors are new. The new 17inch coy wheels are sweet. Tires like new. Suspension and springs replaced. The front end was lowered. The interior was all redone. Doors work good and windows. All the glass is good. Everything works except a/c (just need to charge and install belt to use) and horn. Fan\heat works. The stereo with cd sounds nice. Mileage listed is whats on the odometer but probably not correct - no idea of exact mileage. Fuel gauge works but doesn't show the correct level- probably needs a new\cleaned sending unit. She is an attention getter. Many more pics and video available if you want to send me a ebay message.July 30, 2020 - YouTubeVideo will open in a new windowTo answer a few questions that I have been asked-Q: Is the title clear with no leaseholders?A: Yes- free and clear MI title, I can send you an email with a pic of it if you like.Q: Why are you selling?A: Too many toys, not enough room or time.Q: I see you are in MI, has this been driven in the snow?A: No- it's a fair weather vehicle, never been in snow and maybe caught in the rain once. Stored indoors in a heated garage all winter and covered as well. We don't drive it until well after the spring rains have washed the slat from the roadsQ: Do you have access to a lift to inspect underneath?A: Yes- I have a lift and you are more then welcome to inspect underneath.Q: Are you a car dealer?A: No- I am not a car dealer dealer- personal use and owned.Q: Do you have pics of when the slapshifter was installed? Why did you remove it?A: Yes- email me and I can send you pics. We removed it since it's primarily driven by my wife and she didn't like the slap shifter but we still have it and all parts needed to hook it back up if desired.Q: Availability to show the car?A: I'm available most days, Just let me know a day\time you would like to come see it.Q: Is the engine\trans original?A: No- the engine is a 1974 302. I do not have the original engine. I believe the trans is original but you would have to verify that. I know the rear diff is not original as well.Q: how old are the pictures shown?A: They were taken July 5th and the car hasn't been out of the garage since so it's exactly how it is now. |
