1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie 500. In 1959 only both Fairlane and Galaxie 500 badges were used. This one has the 352 CID/225HP V8, automatic transmission and power steering. Brakes are manual drums but are in good order and stop the car well without pulling to one side. This car is 100% complete and with the slight exception of some surface oxidation there is no rust anywhere or rust bubbles in the paint. We put in a new battery, new tires, new fuel pump and re-chromed the rear bumper.It is reportedly a one family owned vehicle between Washington State and California. Prior to us it was sitting in dry, enclosed storage for ten years. The mileage is indicated 31K and we believe it to be no more than 131K. The interior and headliner are flawless and all appear to be original, there are no cracks on the dash. The engine is smooth, quiet and powerful with no ticking.
