Up for sale is a 1969 Ford Mustang convertible. It has the original 351 V8 engine with a 4 barrel carb, mated to an automatic transmission. It has 98k original miles on it and has had 3 owners. This particular example was special ordered with factory a/c, front power disc brakes, cruise control, remote mirror, power steering and a rim blow style steering wheel. Car is in fantastic condition and will turn heads everywhere it is driven. Runs and drives great. Engine pulls hard and transmission shifts great. A/c blows cold, power top works great and original am radio works too. Clock is inop and the cruise control has not been tested. Recent mechanical repairs include a rebuilt rear end, resealed transmission, new carb and tune up. All fluids have been changed. Has brand new tires and an alignment was done at the same time. Interior is in excellent condition and is original. Exterior was repainted sometime in the past 20 years. There is some evidence of rust repair in the lower door skins and rear lower quarter panels. Floor pans and inner rockers are original and rust free. Also included in the sale are the original build sheet, window sticker, owner's manual and a folder of extensive receipts and service records that go back to the 1970s. This is a fantastic Mustang in a hard to find color and loaded with all the factory options. This example is ready to be driven and enjoyed on that next cruise night.
