***Please read the entire listing***NO TRADES, please.Michigan TITLE in my name.Up for sale is my 1970 Mustang Mach1 project. This is a highly optioned M-code (351C 4v) 4-speed manual car with tach, wing and louvers from the factory. See the deluxe Marti report which will be included with the sale. This car had been mostly stripped when I purchased it. It still has the original power disc brakes and power steering. All 4 headliner bows remain. The rear glass looks like it is good. The windshield has no cracks, but has deep scratches from the wipers. The passenger door glass, regulator, and tracks are still intact. Good core high-back buckets and rear seats are included. Tracks are good on front seats. Rear window stainless trim is there. Windshield trim is there except one lower piece. It had an incorrect 8" rear when I bought it, but I have replaced it with a correct 9" rear. Both lower front valence lamps and brackets are there. The collar on the installed column is damaged, but a second column is included. The Bad:Needs replaced: D/S front frame, toe pans, floor, quarters, fenders, trunk, decklid, hood, front and rear valences, outer wheelhouses, front torque boxes.Needs repaired: Doors, inner wheelhouses, P/S front frame, short frames on both rear, the tops of the aprons in the engine compartment where they all rust (I would NOT replace these as they are otherwise in good shape, but the battery apron will need a little work). The shock towers both have cracks. Some welding had been done on the P/S in the past. The D/S has a hairline crack. Not sure if it could be opened up and welded to repair, but my intent was to replace the tower. The Good:Aside from a tap in the back which looks like it happened while it was moved around, this does not appear to have been in an accident. The damage to front valance was almost certainly due to someone damaging it with a strap when pulling it. The cowl is good. It should just need to be cleaned up. The rear torque boxes are good and the rear frames will only need the short frame repairs. Rockers look good. Roof looks good. Radiator support had been pulled on to move it around, but I think it can be used, but I have a new one that is included. The honeycomb trim, and the bright trim, on the tail panel looks to be good.NEW SHEET METAL INCLUDED:Left and Right full quarters, left and right fenders, front and rear valences, full floor pan, left and right door skins (inner corner of D/S door will need some work, but I would save the door), full trunk pan assembly, radiator support, battery apron, deck lid, and rear wing assembly. I may have a new tail panel that I will include as well, but I don't believe it will be needed. What you see, plus the sheet metal listing is what is included.FOR AN ADDITIONAL $1,000 I will include a correct 4-speed toploader with bellhousing, a 351C 4v engine (I believe it is a '71, but should be the correct 4-bolt main, turns over, but condition unknown-assume needs a rebuild), and a set of correct 4v cast iron exhaust manifolds. These are not being sold separately from the vehicle. This is a big project, but will be an awesome car when complete. It is being sold as-is where-is. I have described the vehicle to the best of my ability and judgement. All sales are final and there are no returns, so please come see what you are buying BEFORE you hit Buy-It-Now. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I am available to show the vehicle or provide additional information and photos prior to hitting Buy-It-Now. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due when you hit Buy-It-Now. Payment in cash or bank-to-bank transfer (all funds cleared in my account) prior to anything being moved and are due in 7 days. The car rolls and steers, but does not stop. I live on a court, so just about any rig can get turned around.NO TRADES, please. |
