I've posted a walk around video here:Here's a really nice 1970 Dodge Challenger. It is a "Special Handling" car, so we don't know exactly what it came with. This car only had the one fender tag, there was no additional tag showing options. We do know it was a 318 automatic car with factory air. It's now a black on black 383 four speed car with an 8 3/4 rear axle and a rally dash. I built it the way I wanted to, so it's got dog dish caps and basically no emblems. The paint is super nice, it's single stage Glasurit black and the body was blocked four times before color was shot. I had most of the original trim straightened and refinished but the bumpers and tail light bezels are reproductions. The motor was freshened up and we added a custom grind cam, it's lumpy. There's an Edelbrock intake and a new Holley/Quickfuel double pumper carb. The clutch is a new McCleod, and the factory shifter was redone as well. We built a custom exhaust for the car, its all 3" with a fabricated "X" and dumps right before the tips. The exhaust is tig welded 309 stainless and it sounds great. There's all new wiring harnesses from M&H, everything under the hood and under the dash is new. There's a new wiper motor, alternator, voltage regulator, electronic ignition (Mopar), and radiator. The tail light section is original, and everything works except the clock. The interior has a new carpet, new console, new heater control and radio bezels, and the seats were redone right before I got the car. It's got custom wheels from Wheelsmith and incorrect dog dish hubcaps. The chassis is mechanically 100% but not cosmetically restored. The car runs drives very nice and is tight and quiet. All the air conditioning equipment (including all new wiring and vacuum hoses) is still in the interior, but I would just install a Vintage Air kit. We can do that for $2000 extra, parts and labor. The dash is cracked but I will include a new one with the sale, and there's a complete set of Challenger R/T emblems that go with it as well. I will also include a set of 15" Rallys with new tires and a set of 14" Rallys with used tires.Overall this Challenger presents very well and it's freshly built with only a few road test miles. If you're looking for one of these cars you know how crazy pricing has gone lately. This is an opportunity to get a Challenger built by a reputable builder at a fair price and it's ready to cruise now. It presents very well and makes all the right sounds. Don't go through the heartbreak of restoring a car, just write the check and start enjoying this one now.
