1966 Mustang Convertible C-CodeI am listing this beautiful car for A friend of mine. I have seen this car and will attest to it's condition as best I can. It has been owned by current owner for around 5 years. While I am a mopar guy I have restored cars and I believe I know quality workmanship when I see it.The body on this convertible is very flat and straight. It has been sanded and buffed to a very high quality shine. The body fitment and gaps are very nice and time was taken to get things even. All the trim and stainless has been buffed and bumpers re chromed. All trim fitment seems to be very nice. The underneath of this car has a light to moderate coat of undercoating which again seems to have been professionally done.Mechanically I only rode for a short distance. The engine idled and seem to run smoothly. The current owner says that everything is in order. and it can be driven anywhere. I did not hear any noises or clunks from any part of the drivetrain or suspension. I'm sure that everything is probably new or rebuilt.The pony interior is a beautiful option for this car. The seats front and back are tight and crisp with little to no wear. Carpeting, door panels, gauges, and dash related items are all in very nice condition as well. All interior functions do work. The glass is also very nice and meet to each other and the top well. The power tan convertible top still looks new and goes up and down like it should.From what I have seen and what I have been told I have described this mustang as best I can. I will say that it is a very pretty car and that the condition reflects a car that was nicely done and that now it lives a pampered life. That being said it is over 50 years old and sometime things can be easily overlooked.. This Mustang is being sold where is as is and no warranties have been written expressed or implied. I strongly recommend an inspection either by you or your agent. This should be done before end of auction.
