Vehicle Information Video Description Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this attractive and superb driving Datsun 240Z Coupe in nice colors. This car was recently purchased from the East Coast and had plenty of recent mechanical work to ensure that it runs and drives extremely well out on the open road. PLEASE SEE VIDEO. This car retain most of all of it's original interior which is holding up very well overall, and looks very nice and genuine.The bodywork on this car is decent overall showing some past repairs in the B-post and lower front fender areas. The car's original color from new appears to be Avocado Green. Panel gapping is decent to variable. Paintwork was a modest older respray that still appears nice and glossy from 10 feet, but upon close inspection it is showing some age in the form of chips, some light spidering, lifting, with some lump and bumps. It's perfectly fine to use and enjoy as an around-town driver, but would benefit from a quality repaint down the road eventually. It would look great returned to it's original color.... The car's underside has received a new pair of floors at some point, probably earlier in the car's life.The car's interior trim is extremely well-preserved and very inviting in it's original colors and materials. The comfortable supportive seats appear amazingly original and have gradually faded to a very attractive light tan. The car still retains it's original panel kit, headliner, steering wheel, original dashboard (with some light light cracks), with a newer black carpet kit fitted. All the gauges are functioning properly with good readings. The interior storage lockers still retain the original wheel chocks, lifting jack with handle, lug wrench. The spare wheel is not present.Mechanically, The car is fantastic. It appears that recent work included a radiator reconditioning, carburetor rebuild, brakes, tires, free flow big bore exhaust system. The car's matching numbers engine starts briskly and easily on the key, revs healthy with good oil pressure, no smoke or noises and feels very well tuned. Gearbox, clutch, brakes, steering and suspension all feel great with light controls, and the car goes confidently down the road with no issues.Overall, a fun driving car with decent cosmetics for a daily or weekend driver, this 240Z is mechanically excellent.
