I have been fussy with this one for a year. It is very reliable and ready for someone to have some great fun with it. I will list what I have done at the bottom. It is 12 volt. It has a new 12 volt battery. It also has a 110 volt inverter with 2 power outlets to power 110 volt accessories , the LED string trim lights and the music / siren / .PA system. . It has a sting of LED lights ( removable to trim the car for night parades along with an inexpensive but fun new sound system. The grandchildren will love the sound system. . Oil and spark plugs have been changed. Car greased. New wiring where required. Original AHHOGAA horn works. New bright brake light system just installed ( do not drive in traffic without a brake light) I have installed new chrome rear view mirrors on the side ( another crucial safety item) Approaching 55 years of working on classic cars as a hobby The Model T Ford and Model A Ford are my favorites. Why? Easy for an amateur to maintain and repair – Overnight cheap parts, Large collector and Hobby community AND they are built to last. I can get any needed part in two days from Snyders, Macs or Langs old time auto parts . The cars are supported by Model T Ford Club of America and Model T Ford International along with numerous local clubs who loan tools and expertise. Many tours are available as a group including covered bridge tours in Indiana to trips through the Mountains as a group. This I believe is my 45th Model T. This car has had someone build what is commonly called a Depot Hack. The old metal body has been removed and a very nice well build wood body built on the frame. It is basically a pick up truck of the day for farmers. Many Model T’s were built on factory frames into trucks, ambulances, fire trucks etc by private companies. It carries 4 adult or two adults and three children comfortably. I would add seat pads for longer driver. In the battery box on the drivers running board is a 115 volt inverter, You can use this with two outlets to charge your phone or run the extra electronics. You can convert it back to 6 volt if you wish by adding 2 guage or 0 guage heavy battery cable to carry suffucuent amperage to the starter. This Model T has some great additions. Including 1926-1927 wire wheels and fat tires ( replacement cost for these would be $ 436 per wire wheel, or over $ 1800 and over $ 900 for the Honeycomb radiator. I have added a large modern brake light I can gladly teach you to maintain and drive this car if you wish to drive up and pick it up. Or see some of my Model T videos on YouTube. I had to select clean for title because the others do not fit ( salvage, flood etc) Vermont does not title cars over 25 years old. The plate is paid up for two years. You simply send in the change of ownership to Vermont along with a form I will provide, pay your fee and you get plates in a few weeks. You can check with your State if you wish to title it in your State on to transfer the Vermont registration to your own State. I have found it is so much easier just to keep with friendly Vermont There also is no odometer so mileage listed is a simple guess. Some of the items done inspection of engine transmission and brakes oil and grease change 600 weight differential top off tire and wheel inspection steering inspection lighting repair added safety mirrors added rear brake light system repainted where needed note a nice brass trimmed battery box is on the drivers running board Both the 110 volt inverter and the electronic music box speaker and microphone are not permanently mounted. I sugge I have sold a few Model T's overseas. Overseas buyers I can hold in storage if you wish to drive it in the USA prior to shipping overseas. I can deliver it say to the Indiana covered bridge tour coming up this fall for a fee. Contact me.
