| Volkswagen Bus Transporter Deluxe.Pretty much everything has been restored on this bus. The yellow color was not offered on 1979 VW buses in the US, however it is a VW color. The original M code plate was researched and all the information is available.There is extensive picture & spreadsheet documentation on the parts and services performed, Close inspection of the underside, interior and exterior are welcomed. The sunroof operates as it should, all mechanical systems work correctly.Includes a Kenwood DNX-6960 with Garmin GPS and functioning rear camera built into the dash. Two speakers front in the front kickpanel, two rear speakers included.All fuel hoses were redone in new ethanol proof hose. Gas tank resealed. New Fuel injection harness was built by Kyle Automotive.New Dakota cylinder head (CHT) temperature gauge and VDO oil pressure gauge.Tires are correct load range 195R-14 reinforced Hancook radials.All window and door seals are new OEM German seals.Steering coupler, damper, center pin/ kit and drag links are new OEM parts.RAAM audio sound deadener mats applied extensively on panels.Created access to fuel sender from the rear hatch using a West MArine sealable cover plate.Berg shifter (GB6750) installed, with new bushings throughout.Hella H4 headlightsIncludes aftermarket tachometer.Interior was redone in carpet and OEM vinyl & headliner much the way later Vanagon interiors were done. The passenger seat, middle seat and rear seat are original, the driver's seat has been recovered in OEM style upholstery. All seat hardware is OEM.Includes Z-bed system parts (not installed) to modify the existing rear seat so it will fold into a bed.Also includes a roof tent that mounts over the sunroof to provide protected headroom. The contact areas on the roof have been protected with clear 3M film.Can assist buyers with shipping, buyers are responsible for vehicle pick-up & shipment. | |
