This was a no expense spared restoration with far too many items to list independently.Some of the highlights include four wheel drum brakes on factory magnum 500 road wheels with factory reproduction redlines...with a 4-speed Hurst shifted transmission. .. single point mopar date coded distributor. dual chrome mirrors...This road runner is date coded from front to back..Its the décor package that sets this runner apart from the pack..(stainless pillar moldings, rear armrests with ash trays, deck-lid panel with name plate, partial steering wheel horn ring) rear single speaker with am radio. Has rear speaker control. Very rare for such an early car. 323 suregrip 742 case. Built on the lynch road assembly plant MAY 2, 1968.MCACN 2018 SCORED 990/1000MOPAR NATIONALS 2017 OE CERTIFIED BRONZE (ONLY TWO OTHERS CARS EVEN PLACED AT THIS EVENT)PLENTY OF OTHER SHOWS SCORED BEST RESTORED MOPAR. This Road Runner is in my personal collection. It checks off every single box in my book. Numbers matching motor, tranny and body. Has a perfect BUILDSHEET and the origina lChrysler lynch road installed FENDER TAG . Its ready to show and go as the 383 is no slouch. Have dyno sheets producing 359 hp and 381 ft lb torque… This car is dialed in to perfection. Everything operates as it should. Not a single drop of oil on my white floor .Doesn’t get a bit hot in 97 degree Miami sun. runs at a constant 175 degrees all day long even in traffic. The body and detail of restoration that went in to this car is spectacular. It is an undercoated car and it looks perfect. The whole suspension is detailed and has all the inspection marks as mother mopar did….dont let this runner go…it wont last… trust me this is a good one..DONT FORGET TO LOOK AT THE VIDEOS BELOW..
