Vehicle Information Video Description Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this attractive and nicely optioned TR-4 Convertible in great colors. This car was just purchased back East from the state of New Hampshire out of a car collection that the seller was reducing in size. It's a generally decent good driver that is fitted with the desirable wire wheels and overdrive options. It's a car that can be used and enjoyed right away with possibly the improvement of it's paintwork down the road.The bodywork on this car is generally in good shape. Panels open and close fine and line up pretty good. From 10 feet, the car looks quite nice, but It's current British Racing Green paintwork is now older and is showing checking on the top portion of most all the panels. It has a genuine nice old look and feel about it, but should be a fairly easy stripdown and redo if one chooses to repaint it. Brightwork overall looks pretty nice. The windshield glass is looking tired but has a new rubber gasket fitted. The car has been facelifted, probably during it's last repaint, to the later and more attractive TR4A grille, front sidelights and door/fender molding set-up.Interior-wise, the car is very tidy. Seats look nice and have been correctly trimmed in black with white vinyl piping. Black carpets look quite decent along with nice door and quarter panels. The dashboard wood is a solid teak replacement. The top pad, switch plate and crash pads all look great, along with the addition of 4A armbars. The gauges are all operating correctly. The Moto-Lita wood/alloy steering wheel is a lovely touch. The black tonneau cover supplied fits great. The top fits good.Mechanically, the car's correct TR-4 engine starts easily, revs robustly with good oil pressure, good temperature, no smoke, and pulls strongly down the road. Clutch and brakes are good. The gearbox shifts crisply into all gears with no fuss. It's driveline is very good and healthy. There is some suspension or steering clonking/clicking detected at lower speed that could use a look at. The overdrive unit is a delight to operate and engages in and out swiftly. PLEASE SEE VIDEO. The car is due for a new tire set.Underneath, The car looks very solid overall. It has had some normal, typical inner rocker repair in the past. The floors and outer fenders/ outer rockers all look good. There is no trunk rust.
