| We are selling our fathers Thunderbird. Until recently it has been driven regularly on most sunny days. This is a turn-key, regularly serviced car from our non-smoking family. If you prefer the dressed up look (pictured in the last photograph), the wide whites and continental kit tire cover are included. Please review my feedback as I am an experienced eBay seller with 100% positive feedback. • Original 312 CID Y-block V-8 engine with 225 HP that has been rebuilt with hardened seats. Runs cool. • Ford-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. • Colonial white exterior with red and white interior and a newer tan top. (no hard top) • Manual steering and brakes are in good working order. • 12-Volt electrical system with 1 wire 60 amp alternator. • Updated to dual master cylinder for safety. This sale includes:• 3 piece continental kit tire cover. • original generator. • original master cylinder. • original starter.• a box of other bits and original parts for the car.• Black wall AND wide whitewall tires***See the last photograph of the car fully dressed. • Dog dish and full hub caps. • Two sets of keys.• Complete chassis manual.• Complete electrical manual. The car’s white paint (original color) and trim are in overall very good order. The car’s body is sharp, its engine bay is very tidy. This Bird rolls on NEW black-wall tires mounted on steel wheels topped with dog dish covers just as most were delivered back in the day. Again the tires are in great condition as they have less than 500 miles on them. The white walls tires are in serviceable condition dad just likes the original look better. Inside, the car’s red and white (original colors) interior is a great contrast to the exterior. The seats are in overall great shape, as is the red carpeting. The glass is all good. The steering wheel is in fine shape, along with the inner door liners and dashboard. An aftermarket (made to look period correct) AM/MF radio completes the interior. In the trunk there is a original style heavy rubber mat with jute padding under it which is not pictured. I removed them for the photographs to show you the condition of the trunk metal. This Thunderbird is a great driving car but has some needs: the speedometer is inoperable as is the odometer. I am neither a mechanic nor an automotive expert but I can tell you that this car drives tightly and feels proper to me. The car has not been detailed in a while, these pictures provided are recent and reflect it's current condition. Overall this is a fun and dependable car you can drive anywhere. It has normal wear and tear as it is driven not trailered show car. Pre-bidding inspections are welcome and encouraged. I have experience with international shipping. Car is located near the Port of Baltimore and 7 minutes from Baltimore Washington International airport. Buyer is responsible for shipping. You will receive clear Maryland title and you can fill in the blanks for tax purposes. ***If you are having the car shipped it is your option to take both sets of tires but there is not enough room in this car to ship the tires inside of the car with all of the other parts that come with it.
