Orange Rush was featured at SEMA in the JRI shock booth and has appeared in many magazines. The truck was raced by Bob Bertelsen at many autocross and road race events. It won several of the events and is very competitive. Since the truck has been retired, the motor and transmissions have been rebuilt. The motor was rebuilt by Scoggin Dickey Race Shop and dyno at 644 hp and 599 ft# of torque. The transmission was gone through by Bowler Transmissions. The truck only has about 10 miles on it since the rebuild. The truck drives incredibly well and yes it is street legal. I drove from Charlotte to Jasper Indiana in a couple years ago. The truck is well build and does have NOS which adds another 100HP. Here are the highlights of parts in the truck: Motor: Scoggin Dickey LS7 7.0L 427 Cu. In HP 644 HP 599ft/lb. There are plenty of pictures and videos on line, just google “Orange Rush Truck”. The truck is located in Columbiana OH 44408. If you would like to see it, please let me know and we can set up an appointment. The truck will not ship or leave until funds have cleared the bank. No exceptions. |
