This car is a total project and needs a bunch of work but is a real Henry Ford steel 32 Ford. This car was originally channeled in the front and has a flat firewall that was added back in the day. The body only has the front floor section and would require floors remade to be safe for a modern day hot rod. The car has the original 32 frame underneath but it has been cut and welded on over the year and needs repair. Namely at the steering box mount someone cut a hole in the frame to mount a steering box and then cut the mount out leaving a hole at the stock steering box and making the frame needing repair there. It features stock front and rear cross members, original 32 Ford "heavy front axle with split wishbones, hydraulic brake conversion, a 1960's GM rear end. The body is very unique in that it has had a 57 Chevy hood welded and leaded to fill the roof opening. This was probably a pretty wild hot rod back in the day! This project includes the 5 window body, original 32 ford grill with insert, old Guide headlights, doors, trunklid, dashboard with custom insert and old gauges, old F1 pickup steering box, original garnish molding, windshield frame and some other odds and ends I'm probably forgetting. I'm also including a Chrysler 354 Engine that is complete but probably could use a rebuild. It has only been bored .040 over. It comes with a 671 big bore blower, old polished blower intake, 4x2 blower intake with 4-stromberg 97's, delta timing cover, blower snout, tensioner brackets, etc. The blower needs a front and rear gear cover, but the hard to find stuff is all there. Also included is a vintage Hemi to Cad/Lasalle transmission adapter and a 37 Lasalle gearbox case with bellhousing and a column shift Cad/Lasalle trans complete for the gears. Basically this is all the hard to find stuff to put together a real-deal 60's street-strip drivetrain! This car needs the normal bottom 6" of the body repaired as expected and the floors/body mounts should be redone. This isn't a car you can just jump in and go, but it's a real deal old hot rod that has "the look". For the money you are getting A LOT considering what the hemi stuff, speed parts, and real deal 32 ford stuff goes for on its own! I'm happy to send additional photos or answer any questions about the car. I can go up or down on price depending on what parts you want included and I have lots of spare parts I could include depending on the deal. Finally The Car is sold with NO TITLE and only a bill of sale. The VIN numbers can still be faintly read on the frame rail so a title could be obtained with the proper process in your state. I bought it this way and I'm selling it this way. |
