CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
This car will be listed one time only! If you don't like the price please move along. I know I'll never come across one of these again. Clear title in my name free of liens. Last owner (believed to be second owner had for 33 years! ) I have personally driven this car on 300 mile road trips with no problems. Please note I reserve the right to end action anytime for any reason! Only selling to get another six speed 2010 up Dodge Challenger. Anyways, paint I'd say is 90 percent original. The door and hood, trunk and behind bumper jambs have already been painted in the original color. Remember this is one of 666 sport fury GT made in 1970. It's not perfect but darn it's not bad either! The transmission was rebuilt approximately two years ago at a transmission shop. The engine had one rebuild from what I was told the heads were redone and were made so you could run unleaded fuel and 87 octane. The interior is in pretty good shape. The carpet and head liner and complete dashboard were replaced at some time. driver's door is sticky but never fails to open and the window doesn't go all the way down. Both doors have NO sag. New door sills are included along with a box or two of original fury parts and the original carb and a freshly rebuilt Edelbrock carb. The price is firm and this car will be offered once and once only. Then I will have painted next spring. I've had four new style Challenger's and can't afford this and one of those so for me it is more practical to let this rare gem go. Am radio still works along with the heat and speedo. Ditto for the horn fuel gauge etc..this car drives pretty nice down the road. The 440 runs on 87 octane but could use the rebuilt carb installed and timing set back to spec. I believe kickdown linkage needs hooked up. the headlights go up with the switch but you have to spin the piece under the hood to close(takes 30 seconds) in a nutshell this is a pretty rare find believed to be numbers matching. I reserve the right to end auction at any time for any reason. If you want someone to inspect the car just contact me. Car can stay in my garage with your own insurance for up to 30 days. Do not bid if you need permission or can't afford this car. This is a no reserve auction. Opening bid is the least this car is leaving my garage for. PayPal will be accepted, but you must pay the difference it cost me in fees to accept it.s
