| You are looking at a 1971Chevrolet El Camino. This is an older Frame-Off Restoration. It is a numbers-Matching vehicle. I bought this vehicle because I love these cars. I am not a car expert so I am mostly use relaying what I have been told when I purchased it. It is a 396-Turbo engine with a 400T transmission. Disc brakes in the front and drums in the back. Duel exhaust. The bed is rhino-lined and looks brand new. I was told this was going to be a SS Hertiage. It apoears that the Restoration was about 95 %completed when they either ran out of money or interest. The wipers are not hooked up, the horn does not work there is a stereo installed but does not work. It needs the liner behind the seats. The A/C compresser is out of the vehicle but one can be installed if that's the way you want to go. They also sell plates if you want to cover it up. I just took this to a mechanic and he put it on a lift, that is how I got the underneath pictures. It is a good running machine, mechanically strong. | |
