1963 Chevy Impala 2 dr Sport Couple. This car is one of my projects that I have decided not to complete. The interior was at an upholstery shop that I have used for years and the owner passed away unexpectedly. The heiress in turn sold the complete interior to this car at an estate auction. The owner was a good friend, and all of this has just taken the fun from this rebuild. The car has what looks to be a fresh 305 small block in it with a 4-speed transmission. The body is quite solid. I have replaced the quarter panel and inner panel on the driver side as well as the trunk pan. I have the other new quarter panel in a box. The car is stripped of all trim to get ready for paint preparation. All trim is available except the long side trim. That trim was removed, and holes filled when I purchased the car. I have pictures of the trim if requested. The car runs and drives well for the few miles we drove it before we started the rebuild. This car would be a great project. A person could put in a few hundred more dollars in it and either have a nice driver or sell it and make several thousand. These cars have evaluated rapidly over the last 5 years and that trend is expected to continue. I really want to get it out of my shop to make room for another project I have waiting. Keep in mind that there is already about $2500 in replacement metal & labor that goes with this car. Call Bill anytime to discuss at 931-two zero five two 484 or send me a note through eBay. Thanks |
