Chevrolet 210 Wagon project car that has all it's parts. The car starts right up and runs smooth. Lots of new parts - new radiator, battery, disc brakes in front, dual master cylinder, wheels/tires, gas tank, exhaust system, driver's window, rebuilt carburetor. New parts that come with it that haven't been installed - turquoise seat belts for front and rear seat, new heater core and mounting plate (the current heater works fine). 4 hubcaps that I believe are original. Car cover and cleaning products for whitewalls. The engine is a 283 and circa 1962. It appears to be in good condition. The transmission is a TH400 and not original to the car (it's much more heavy duty). They are almost leak free. The headliner is in excellent condition. The seats are okay and are probably original. All the windows roll up and down. There is a crack in the right rear window. All other glass is intact. The gauges work but don't seem to be 100% accurate. The horn needs to be rewired. This is a project car! There is rust on the rockers, floor pan, and other areas (I've attached pictures). Some is surface rust, some is more extensive. This was the next project I was going to tackle but I just don't have the time for it. If you aren't interested in doing sheet metal restoration, please don't bid on this. Although this is a 210, someone put Bel Air trim on it. It is not a Bel Air. The original color was a dark blue/white and someone repainted it turquoise/white.I've done the hard part of getting it running (and stopping!), looking for someone to turn it into a looker! The great part is it's drivable right now and can be worked on in your spare time.Note - If you saw this car listed a couple weeks ago, the reason it is being relisted is because the winning bid did not pay. |
