1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Driveable. Engine sounds fine. Some body rust. I quit work when I realized rust on the longitudinal frame members, fore and aft of the rear axels, was beyond my skill level to repair. The inner part of the longitudinal frame seems solid. New uninstalled parts include tie rod set (L & R), carburetor jet needle and adjusting tool, throttle cable, oil pressure gauge (electric), distributer points and condenser, 4 spark plugs, 160 degree thermostat with gasket, 2 side view mirrors. The car came with Monza dual exhaust with headers. New hood but no frame. Serviceable Tonneau cover with rusted shut zipper. 2 service manuals. Questions welcome. Offers considered. |
