Custom ’57 Bel Air extensive frame off build just completed at the end of 2019. Beautiful House of Kolor Blue Blood Redpaint. Car has never been to a car show. Only has about 250 miles to work out any issues.The engine is a fuel-injected 496big block Chevy with a custom aluminum Hogan Racing intake and polished VintageAir Frontrunner serpentine accessory system. The big block is backed by a 4L80E automatic transmission built byRossler Transmissions to be able to handle the horsepower and torque. Headers and 3” dual exhaust were coated withJet-Hot polished ceramic coating. Stainless steel polished driveshaft with Strange 3.70 center section andMoser axles. Large polished aluminum radiator with two electric fans installed to cool the big block.Frame built with ArtMorrison center section and a rack and pinion steering. Ridetech air ride suspension allows the carsride height to be easily changed. LargeWilwood disc brakes and Wilwood master cylinder installed. 22 gallon stainless steel gas tank by RicksHot Rods.Custom Billet Specialties Railwheels (18” front, 20” back) give this car the perfect stance. The rear axle was moved back to center thelarge 20” rear wheel in the wheel opening. Custom builtfirewall and side engine compartment panels built and painted body color tohighlight the engine.Custom front andback bumpers were built. Front bumper isa one-piece California bumper with studs welded on back to eliminate the bumperbolts and give the bumper a complete custom smooth appearance. The back bumper started as a three-pieceNomad bumper that was narrowed to fit the body closer. The three pieces were welded and seamsblended to a make a true custom one-piece rear bumper.Maybe the best part about the car is the interior. Beautiful custom leather interior by PaulAtkins Interiors. Changes were done tothe dash to simplify and smooth it but keep the original style. Custom Dakota Digital gauges were installedto match the interior color. Has a Vintage AirA/C system. Electric side and rearquarter windows with remote keyless door and trunk locks. Remote mounted Bluetooth stereo system.Also included is a custom car cover.Please ask any questions and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for looking.*** The only issue I have with the car is that the passenger side windshield wiper is not working correctly. I installed the Raingear system under the dash but the passenger side is not "clocked" correctly. I didn't realize it at first because I don't like the look of the wipers on the car and just have the custom stud covers on the wiper studs (see first two pictures). I never planned on driving in the rain so it wasn't an issue for me. Stating as full disclosure in case you plan to drive in the rain it will need to be fixed. |
