This Malibu was built during the height of the Pro/Street movement. It is a very good build that has stood the test of time. Overall the Malibu shows very well with only the lacquer paint showing some wear where the FULLTILT FRONT meets the fenders and at the rear drivers’ quarter panel. The body is ALL STEEL excepting the fiberglass bumpers. The fabrication on the tilt front and rear wheel tubs was done very well. The interior of the Malibu presents itself very well with factory appointed front bucket seats accented with a center console optimizing an automatic transmission shifter. The dash has all the Pro/Street appointments including switches for the fuel pump, dual radiator fan, transmission fan, transmission brake, etc. There is also a full complement of gauges. Miles on Malibu are not represented as actual and sold as exempt. The engine is a BUILT427 cu in Big Block Chevrolet putting out over 500 horsepower. We do have a full tech sheet on the engine build. The transmission is a Turbo-Hydro 400 automatic with reverse shifting; 4000 rpm stall convertor, and a transmission brake. The rear end is a Narrowed DANA 60 Posi-Trac with 4:56 gears. The rear suspension is a 4-link with adjustable coil over springs. The Malibu features Front Disc Brakes and Rear Drum Brakes. The wheels are 15” X 4” and 15” X 14” Centerline Polished Aluminum Racing Wheels with Nexen 265/80R15 front and 31X16.50R15LT Mickey Thompson ET Street tires rear.
