For your consideration is a very nice example of what appears to be a rust free 55 2 door hardtop. The car came from an avid car collector who purchased it in the current painted condition and proceeded to install a complete new interior as well as go through the suspension and steering. The engine is a bored 283 with dual WCFB carburetors on a stock GM manifold. This engine was built, run and dynoed by a professional shop in Kansas, the dyno paperwork shows 340 hp peak hp. ( have present all engine paperwork) The 3speed transmission has also been refurbished as well as the new clutch and flywheel has been balanced. The car does need some minor details completed, example the speedometer needs a new cable and the wiper motor is not currently wired to be operational. The original radio has been reconfigured to modern components behind a stock face and dial to allow the use of a phone/iPod for music or use standard radio reception. The tires are Diamondback WWW radial that represent the look of vintage bias ply tires. This car runs and drives very well at both local and highway speeds. Please feel free to contact me for specific photos of an honest description. Car is located near Colorado Springs Colorado. It is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange pickup or transportation.Mike 719-671-8006 |
