| About this vehicle This 1968 American Motors AMX is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Seller's Notes 1968 AMC AMX. Factory x code (390 4 speed) car. Car currently has a 360 and an automatic transmission. Clutch pedal is still in the car and whoever installed the auto trans made a manual style shifter for the auto trans. Car runs good and has Fitech fuel injection,(the up to 600 hp unit) fitech fuel commander fuel pump and summit 3in stainless chamber exhaust. Sounds amazing. I have a amc 390 and a BW T10 4 speed to go back in the to put back to factory original. AMC did not do numbers matching between the engine and vin numbers. I also have newly reupholstered factory and bucket seats and new black AMC carpet.
