For sale, 1973 Chevrolet Nova. I bought this car as a daily driver in 2015. After buying the car, I swapped the old 350 in it for a brand new Chevrolet Performance 350 sb. I have driven the car gently for just over 3000 miles on the new engine, which was the recommended break-in period. The crate engine came dressed from chevy performance. I also had the master cylinder rebuilt, the transmission(turbo 400) rebuilt. The car has all brand new air conditioning that is very cold from Vintage Air and blows hard. The shifter is new. Some wiring redone, and more. It has cherry bomb mufflers, and has that awesome muscle car rumble. The work was done by Extreme Performance in Palm City, FL, a shop that regularly works on original show cars, and custom cars that are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The work on this car was done right! This is not a show car and many of the components of the car are original, but in good working order. Blinkers, wipers, headlights, taillights etc. all work perfectly fine. The brakes are drum, but are strong and plenty for this 3400lb car with a 350. It has power steering, modern seats installed that are more adjustable and much more comfortable than seats from the 70's. The speedometer isn't accurate and the fuel guage on the dash doesn't work. there is however a gauge cluster for fuel, oil pressure, and water temperature installed in the car that work. Rust, and Some bubbling under the paint, see pictures. Keep in mind the car is almost 50 years old. I would be happy to keep this car as my daily driver but I took on another project, and don't have room for my nova anymore(its kept in the garage). Over 25k invested in this car, brand new perfect running crate engine with cold ac! I have the clean title in hand. |
