Ford Galaxie . I bought this Ford Galaxy about 25 years ago and drove it off and on for about a year and put a couple of thousand miles on it.. Then I parked it in my building for the next 24 years. It is a beautiful car, but I am beginning to thin out my collection. It runs great, the interior is like new and the rear seat belts are still in the factory plastic. It has about 15,565 original miles. It has the original tires on it, so I wouldn't count on jumping straight onto the highway with them. They still look new but are 50 years old. The engine is a 429 with automatic transmission. There is, of course, no rust on this vehicle. The underneath of the car is pristine and there are original chalk marks on the differentialIf I remember correctly the AC compressor was making sounds and I took the belt off, so that would need attention. It does have a couple of minor garage dings that don't show up well on the pictures so I included a couple of closeup pictures. One is on the trunk where somebody backed into a package or something. The other is a minor crease on the lower side of the right front fender. Neither of the dings broke the paint, but if you want a perfect car you would want to have them attended to. I bought it from the daughter of the elderly couple that bought the car new, so it is a three owner car.The car is located in Eastern Colorado one mile from I70 exit 383. Zip code (80804)I am asking $6000, but will accept offers if no one buys it at that price.I will be away from my computer until Thursday, but if you have a question you can leave me a message at 303-981-2403 and I will get back to you. |
