Paste link into a browser window: [isdntekvideo] Here is a rare opportunity to own an UNRESTORED 2-owner 60,000 mile 1968 Cadillac Eldorado Fleetwood in its original Madiera Plum Firemist Metallic lacquer and black vinyl top. The car was purchased used from the Chesapeake Cadillac company in Baltimore Maryland in 1974 (sticker on windshield from dealer) and has remained in the family since. It has always been garaged and never in an accident. NO TRADES CASH ONLY The paint still looks great with only a few minor chips on the passenger door (see photo) and in front of the rear wheel wells. The vinyl top appears perfect and has no rips or bubbles. The original chrome and stainless have some small and minor scratches and the passenger side stainless rocker panel cover is dented and scratched (see photo), but overall, everything appears to be in excellent condition. Each of the front turn signal lenses are cracked, but they function normally. The engine is the original 472 c.i./375 h.p. V-8 backed by a three speed automatic transmission and recently was tuned up, had power steering hoses replaced, and radiator hoses. The interior is the original dark red cloth with vinyl trim. There are no tears, rips, or popped seams, all the power options work including the hide-a-way headlights, power antenna, windows, 6-way seats, AM/FM radio, and courtesy lights. The Eldorado even has the original plastic floor mats which came with the car. A/C compressor works and blows cold air. The driver’s side vinyl strap on the arm rest is cracked but doesn’t affect its use. The chassis and floors are in perfect condition and have no holes or patching. The exhaust system is original and appears to only have a few ‘pin’ holes in the muffler. Recently the car was ‘gone over’ by the owner who had 4 new tires and new brakes added. One of the features of the car was an automatic ‘ride adjusting’ suspension in the rear. According to the owner, it had stopped working sometime ago and a set of air shocks were added, but they do leak. Thus, the slightly lower stance in the rear.
