CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
This fully restored 1972 Ford Mustang Convertible pays tribute to the Mach 1, and looks stunning in blue with silver accents. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a distinct V8 pony car offered for an outstanding price. This Mustang has a true aggressive stance and is an amazing sounding machine. The deep chin spoiler, full width rear spoiler, and dual hood scoops all give this the look of an aggressive street machine. Add in the form-hugging chrome bumpers and the upgraded alloy wheels along with the rumble of the 351 Cleveland V-8 and heads turn every time she goes on a cruise. This pony has great looking bucket seats that are great for all-day comfort with no rips or tears. Plus, the carpeting and Mach 1 floor mats look fresh. The convertible top is in excellent shape and the dash is free of any cracks. This car is never driven in the rain and only taken out for car shows and quick trips around the block to keep the seals tight. No leaks that I can see. There are classic elements, like the large round gauge package, auxiliary readouts in the center, and it even has factory A/C (a switch is needed to get it blowing out the vents (currently blows out the defrost)). Under the hood is Ford's 351 cubic inch V8 work horse. It has some added flair with the polished Ford Racing valve covers and matching air topper. The V8 fires up nicely and makes a clean sound out of the rather straight dual exhaust pipes. This creates a classic that's ready for the road. And the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with front discs really make it great for cruising. And don't forget, the wheel upgrade also means you get to fit this with modern and grippy performance tires. Additional OEM air intake and other parts will be included if you want the original look back under the hood. Thus Mustang went thru a tasteful restoration a few years ago. Mileage is exempt with less than 10,000 miles estimated since restoration. Priced to sell as I'm reducing my stable by a couple of classics as we are moving to a house with a single car garage (instead of our current three car garage).
