| This is a very nice 1959 Chevy Impala... 4 door Hardtop.It was originally purchased in Pasadena, California at Colliau Chevrolet Dealership in South Pasadenain December 1959. The original owner owned The Impala ALL of her life and the car was in Pasadena all of its life. Original California Black Plate Car.These cars are so very hard to find and rarely become available, so here is a rare opportunity for you.The Car is still the original Gray color with Red interior.* It comes equipped with a V-8 engine, which runs smooth, quiet and powerful... very reliable* Powerglide Automatic Transmission...Which was rebuilt only 40-50 miles ago.* Dual Exhaust, newer mufflers* Power Steering* Front Brakes have been upgraded to Disc Brakes... with recently installed new pads* The car has had its trunk mat and cardboard panels replaced... Original Jack assembly included.* New Battery, New Fuel Pump, and Newly Rebuilt Carburetor* Newish Tires are fitted with the original, beautiful condition, full Impala Hubcaps** the last 4 pictures show each of the four floor boards underneathThe paint has some cracking, see picture... Thank you.The balance MUST be paid within 72 hours of auction's ending.On Sep-17-20 at 17:28:17 PDT, seller added the following information:I have confirmed with a 348 V-8 expert, that this car did, in fact, come originally with a 348 Big Block.On the Window Sticker it shows Turbothrust, which I imagine, defines a car equipped with a 348 and 4bbl carb.There was an detailed charge of $80.70 on the window sticker, confirmed by metal fuel line was directed out towardsthe passenger inner wheel well, to prevent vapor locking with the extra heat of the Big Block 348. Of course, many of you have noticed the 348 shield on the hood, so I think this new info verifies it.I believe that the car now has a 327 V-8, but can't confirm it | |
