Very solid auto. Drives great. Looks good. This car was stored many years in an enclosed garage with a blown head gasket. Fiberglass in excellent shape and has never suffered any major damage. Body off frame for inspection and any repair as needed. Frame, torque boxes inspected and any surface rust removed, treated and undercoated as needed. Recent two stage repaint. New springs, bushings, shocks and so on. Chrome is very good. Windshield only was replaced. Five practically new tires. Engine and transmission completely and professionally rebuilt. Engine has 10:1 compression, must use premium fuel. New exhaust system with glass-pacs. Much has been upgraded to make for a reliable and safe daily ride. Turner brake conversion. Modern booster and Willwood master cylinder. New aluminum radiator with electric fan. Single wire GM alternator. Solid state ignition. Edelbrock 1906 Annular Boost carburetor. All new (with the exception of the evap) modern R134 A/C system. Works great! No overheating. Interior is mostly original. The front seats were reupholstered, headliner (repop) replaced and new carpet. Gages removed, cleaned and checked. Everything but the clock works, and it did for a while. Radio was replaced with new solid state item. Note: For the purist out there, at the buy it now price I will include most all the original parts that were replaced with modern parts. I did't get the Carter AFB or valve covers. NOTHING was modified to the extent that you could not use them. Rebuild them and bolt them on. |
