This Is A One Family (Father Then Son) Owned And Original #s Matching Truck That Was Custom Ordered Through Vogel Chevrolet-Buick Co. In Duquoin Illinois Back In 1977 By Mr. Ernest Brock Of West Frankfort Illinois. Mr. Brock Died Shortly After In 1980 Therefore The Truck Was Transferred To His Son Dale. Dale Was Also From West Frankfort Illinois Which Is Where This Truck Spent Its Entire Life Peacefully Slumbering Away Indoors Locked In Time And Only Driven For the Occasional Fishing Trip Or Just To Stretch Its Legs. Not Only Does This Truck Have Just Its Second Set Of Tires And Original Hubcaps, It Also Still Has The Original Temporary Registration From 5/26/1977, Original Owners Manual, Original Build Sheet, Original Maintenance Schedule, Original Warranty Information Card, Maintenance Receipts, Original 1980 Title From When The Son Acquired It, And Original Drivetrain. All Original Body Tags And Information Decals Are All Still Present As Well.This '77 Silverado Has All Original And Solid GM Steel Panels, Rust Free Floors And Frame Rails, And Solid Rockers/Cab Corners. The Brown Was Repainted On This Truck Back In 1994 And Looks Fantastic. The Tan Sections Of This Truck Are Original Paint As Are The Sport Stripe Decals On The Hood. The Hood Stripes Can Easy Be Replaced But We Decided To Leave Them Since They And The Paint Are Original, You Just Can't Duplicate Original. The Original Interior Is Extremely Nice With All Original And Working Components, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Windows, Am/Fm Radio, And Air Conditioning Ect.... There's A CB Radio Still Mounted Under The Dash From New And A Trailer Brake System. This Truck Came Factory With Its 5.7L 350 V8 Engine And 3 Speed Automatic Transmission Combo Drivetrain With Power Steering, And Power Disk Brakes. Silverados Were Top Of The Line Back In 1977 And A Rare Low Mileage Truck Like This Isn't Something You See On The Road Everyday.The Engine Bay Is As Original And Unrestored As Its Gets.
