Truly a rare opportunity to own a '65 vette that drives like it just came from the factory.There is more history on this Vette than space allows but Vette owners know how rarea "big block" ,"big tank" 1965 Corvette Coupe really is. As only the 2nd owner ,I purchased this Vette from the original owner. It has been climate controlled and driven sparingly since. In 1965 the original owner came home from the military and bought his California dream car. For the next 20 plus years, he enjoyed modifying and club racing this car. After a move to Texas the car went into storage for the the next 20 years. In 2007 he decided to completely restore the car to pristine condition. A multi year project, every nut and bolt came off. The frame, body and paint were redone to better than new. The fender flares were there for racing and kept as a modification to accommodate those Goodyear Eagle F1 tires and 18" American Racing wheels.C3 mirrors were added . A gorgeous Marina Blue paint with silver ghost flames make this already unique ride really stand out. A new factory ZZ-454 crate motor was installed which has less than 2000 miles.Differential and 4-speed transmission were completely gone through and rebuilt.New distributor, electronic ignition, carb and stainless radiator were added.Power steering was added along with 4 wheel disc breaks.AC was added for comfort.The interior is completely new with custom grey leather seats, shoulder/lap belts and new grey carpet.All factory gauges were restored and work perfectly.A starter interrupter security system was also added.The original 36 gal gas tank was replaced with a new 15 gal. tank.This car comes with all the original documents from the dealer, restoration documents ,invoices and pictures.I also have more pictures .I welcome inspections and would be happy to provide more detailed information.Contact me any time.
