Was originally a 327-powered car, now has a built High Performance 454 engine, rebuilt performance TH400 automatic transmission, driveline done, power brakes, power steering, and the original 12-bolt rear end. New exhaust w/headers, brakes gone through and solid.Very powerful, runs and drives well. Fresh professional upholstery on bucket seat / console SS interior including seat upholstery front and back, new door panels, newer carpet, new package tray & sail panels, more. Clean, nice. Not perfect, but perfectly enjoyable as-is. Original SS steering wheel, badges all around.Body is very straight, was maroon, now wearing its' old white repaint. Still presentable, old, has a great patina. I've sanded, cut, and polished it and it shines nicely for an old, inexpensive paint job. Some beginnings of rust down low, nothing major (please enlarge images to view). Floors and underside are clean. Trunk floor has rust. Missing a piece or two of brightwork trim. Nice wide custom Rally wheels, nice stance, good tires. Nice center caps and trim rings. A great car to enjoy and drive exactly as-is, or take her to the next level. Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for export, inspection, etc. International buyers are welcome as long as you contact me first, and are able to pay promptly. Please be prepared to remit payment in full within 3 days of auction's end via deposit to my Bank of America account, or bank-to-bank wire transfer. While every effort is being made to describe the Impala as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 53-year-old classic and therefore being sold exactly as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. She's not perfect. Expect minor gremlins and small issues associated with a vintage vehicle of this age and era. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I will make the vehicle and myself available for loading on short notice, and can help coordinate a carrier if that helps you. Please feel free to call me with any questions you may have. I reserve the right to end the auction early, as I have the car advertised locally as well. ~Tim 360-936-9257 |
