CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
I am listing this for a client, it is for sale locally as well.I am a licensed dealer in Oregon DA 6526Below is his listing for your consideration. Please note; The information, paperwork & restoration photos on the car was provided to me by the previous owner, and, I also had it inspected by a local auto restoration shop when I purchased it. The block numbers have been confirmed. I believe all the details to be true & accurate, but just like most used cars it is still being sold "AS-IS". This is a Fully Restored & DOCUMENTED, 1967 Camaro SS/RS,It has the correct 1967 295-HP 350-V8, the engine block code is 3892657, suffix code is "MT".The 350 engine is a "Replacement" 1967 295-hp 350, installed NEW by the Dealership back in 1967 under the "Original Factory Warranty",which means it still has the correct & exact same engine as the original engine. The engine is "original" to the car, meaning this is the only car the engine has been in, it was not taken out of another car! This is a Factory 4-speed car, with a Factory AM/FM radio, and NO power steering.1 of only 2281 made with the 3.73 posi rear axle gears,1 of only 205 made with the "Heavy Duty" Front Power Disc Brakes.Very rare "Royal Plum" paint color.Manufactured at the Van Nuys California assembly plant & sold new in Burbank California where it remained until 2006 when the car came up to Oregon. Previous owner had the engine rebuilt in 2004, & then a few years later he did a frame off rotisserie restoration to the car. He also changed the nose stripe from red to White, and he added the rear trunk lid spoiler. Back in 2009 it was appraised at about $48,000. It's still in excellent condition inside & out, from bumper to bumper. However, please note, the 3 gauge cluster on the console doesn't work properly. I'm not sure why, but new ones are available on eBay and/or other auto parts places. I invite & encourage you to please come see it in person. I've provided enough pictures to show that the description is accurate,, so if you want more pictures or a video, please come see the car in person & bring your camera.
